Leave A Message: REVIEW

The new Nike 6.0 movie, Leave a Message provides the viewer with some really powerful surf footage from: Lakey Peterson, Laura Enever, Coco Ho, Malia Manuel, Carissa Moore and Monyca Byrne-Wickey. 


Lakey Peterson showed some great surfing, being a SoCal surfing standout she is, I believe everyone knew she was going to bring a true performance.


Laura Enever, I compare her surfing to someone like Craig Anderson's style, but Laura doesn't do airs much in the movie, she is always laying into barrels, getting dragged over the reef once or twice and carving all over the wave.

Three days till my next "surf trip". Will be on the trip for 2 months.

Mavericks Close Call

1st off, I know nobody has probably seen the blog but, Coming in July and August expect some cool little surf films that are all going to be filmed at Ladies Beach and different surf spots around Nantucket, Massachusetts.

2nd, this week has been crazy in the surf world, yesterday a few of us saw many people charge pipe including Parker Coffin, Reef McIntosh, and Bruce Irons. 

3rd, there was a near-death at Mav's on Saturday. Jacob Trette almost drowned to death. When he was rescued by a man in a kayak, he was gone. The paramedic's found a pulse on shore.  If the NOAA hadn't banned PWC's to be out at Maverick's when the swell is under 20ft. Then Jacob might have been saved rather than almost swallowed up on the gold coast

4th, Just got the news about 15 minutes ago that they are going to run the Volcom Pipeline Pro today! there is an 8:20 am. Hawaii time start. and a 1:20 eastern standard time start.
